  This place is a terrific little spot that embodies, and is emblematic of, the concept of local flavor. Of course, we decided to try this place based on the recommendation of...who else, but some locals. This little restaurant is not in any way elegant in appearance or decor. By contrast, it's quite a simple facility nearly adjacent to the west side of BGSU campus, and seats perhaps 60 persons. Some might even call it a local dive, but that's often where you'll find the best fare. It's clear that it mainly caters to the college crowd. The bottom line is that this place is all about the food. It doesn't try to be anything more than it is or do anything more than what it does best.
  
  The feature offerings are the stuffed breadsticks, and they are excellent. We tried the Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Breadsticks, which we found to be outstanding. They came with BBQ and Jalapeño Cheese dipping sauces. I especially loved the BBQ as it was the perfect accent to enhance the taste. In addition, we had a Roast Beef Special Pizza, for which I also put the BBQ Sauce to good use. The most memorable aspect was something the two items shared in common...the crust. It was among the best I've tasted.
  
  I should note that the service was very good as our server did exemplary work. The prices were also quite reasonable. With drinks, tip and tax, our bill came to less than $50 for three people. And we had enough to take home for two more meals. I thought it was an excellent value. We'll look forward to a return visit.

  As a BGSU alumnae, I am biased, but Campus Polleyes breadsticks are one in a million.
  
  Recently I got to take Dave here so he could experience those chicken and cheese sticks of doughy goodness, and he too was blown away! Their homemade ranch is perfect for dunking!
  
  We went when BG was out for the summer, but the dining room was still pretty busy and of course takeaway orders were popping off. I think this is a testament to just how good it is!
  
  I know a lot in BG has changed recently, but I hope Polleyes remains the same forever.

  Amazing pizza in Ohio? Why yes, there is. And it's right here in this cute, busy little joint near BGU.
  
  Walk in and seat yourself. Very casual, crowded, and loud - but that's ok. The pizza here is amazing. Decent beer list with great prices, too.
  
  The place smells amazing, too. Oh garlic.. Mmm.
  
  There's a little wait after you place your order, but it's worth it. The food arrives piping hot - like straight from oven to table, and it's absolutely delicious. The crust on the pizza was perfection - just the right amount of crispness and flavor. I also loved the cheese stuffed breadsticks!
  
  One small pizza and a half order of sticks was plenty for two people. Great value, great food, great place.

  Chicken and cheese stuffed breadsticks- 3 ranch. I will and have driven 90 minutes out of my way for these little pieces of heaven. Unlike anything you've ever had or will have. I would bathe in their ranch sauce. Love this chronic

  Campus Polleyes is a Bowling Green tradition, and a BGSU tradition.
  
  I have been going to Polleyes for over 13 years and even though I no longer live in Ohio, I try to stop here at least once a year. I travel frequently and have been in dozens of states and several countries, and lemme tell you: ain't no place like Campus Polleyes and their breadsticks.
  
  Real talk: don't get the pizza here. It's not that good.
  
  What you NEED to get: the stuffed breadsticks. Their price has increased quite a bit since I started going here, but the quality has remained the same.
  
  My favorite is:
  - stuffed pepperoni with cheese sauce and marinara
  - stuffed chicken with cheese sauce and barbecue sauce
  
  Don't make me choose my favorite, as I cannot. In fact, because I am an intense fan who is only here once a year now, I'll get two half-orders of both of my favs. I'll eat a few and take the rest home. I'll even bring a cooler bag and some ice if it's hot out during the summer so my breadsticks will last.  If I visit during the winter, even better!
  
  If you are a BGSU student or a prospective student, you must come here. Consider yourself blessed by your time in BG and your ability to enjoy these as often as your budget allows. So many alumni envy you!
